Katie Robinson has been with the agency since 2014 and is accredited with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bloomsburg University. Katie oversees the operations of the organization and manages its compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. In addition, she develops annual budgets that support operating plans and manages the organization’s resources within the budget guidelines according to current laws and regulations. She also oversees the design, delivery, and quality of programs and services offered at Pathway To Recovery. Katie serves as the primary spokesperson and representative for the organization and assures that the organization and its mission, programs, and services are consistently represented in a strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders.

Kristie Scheib, LPC, Clinical Director

Kristie Scheib is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She graduated from Saint Francis University with a Bachelor Degree in Psychology and Minor in Sociology. She later graduated in 2013 from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology with a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Specialization. Kristie has six years’ experience in Drug and Alcohol and Mental Health treatment and has served as a counselor in outpatient, inpatient, and halfway house services. Kristie currently oversees the clinical operations of Pathway To Recovery, which includes program development, supervising of staff, and management of clinical duties.

Eileen Panzarella, Prevention Director

Eileen Panzarella has been with the agency since 1989. She is a 1984 graduate of Wilkes University where she majored in Psychology and minored in Secondary Education. Eileen manages the Prevention/Education Department. Working closely with the Hazleton Area School District, she and members of her department provide drug and alcohol education and intervention services to students. Eileen is the advisor to the Student Board of Pathway To Recovery, a group of adolescents whose mission is to serve as role models in their respective schools and the community, while participating in several drug awareness programs throughout the school year. Eileen also provides Smoking Cessation counseling and serves on the Luzerne County Youth Aid Panel.

Maurissa Laudeman, LCSW, Mental Health Supervisor

Maurissa Laudeman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 7 years of social work experience at Pathway To Recovery. She is a member of the Association of Play Therapy and the National Association of Social Workers. Maurissa is a Registered Play Therapist and is also trained in the use of EMDR and IFS.  In addition, she is also a certified TMH clinician. Maurissa earned her Masters of Social Work degree at Marywood University. Her experience ranges from medical social work, to addictions and co-occurring disorders, and treatment of children, teens and adults with various issues including complex trauma, grief/loss, anxiety, depression, and attachment disorders.
